Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flywire.
Customer Service Representative
It was a time-consuming but comprehensive process. I had four interview rounds in total, consisting of two phone screenings and two formal interviews. The TA team did a good job managing everything.
- Can you share an instance where you had to de-escalate a situation?
Customer Support Representative
After applying online, I got an email to set up a phone chat with a recruiter. Then, a few days after that call, I was invited to an application event. It was a four-hour thing, but honestly, those four hours were great! They had all the candidates for the job there and did a mix of interviews, a game where we solved a problem, some role plays, and a presentation. It was awesome! The people at Flywire are really great and it seems like they genuinely care. A lot of other companies I've interviewed with say the right things, but these guys actually do them. This process lets applicants see more of the company and its culture, and it gives the company more time to get to know us. It was a really good experience!
- What makes you want to join Flywire?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was fast and had a few rounds, including an assignment. The recruiter explained everything upfront. They wanted to know about handling difficult situations and multitasking. Interviews were in different languages. The role was explained well, and it seemed like a happy place to work.

- What systems do you use?
