Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flying Tiger Copenhagen.
Retail Assistant
I got there and they showed me around the stock room, then I sat down in the office with the store manager for the interview. It was super relaxed, I wore casual clothes and they gave me the job right after.
- What do you know about the company?
- What is your motivation for applying to this role?
- How would you deal with a challenging customer?
Cashier
The interview lasted about thirty minutes and covered mostly relevant topics such as career, personal interests, and ideas for the store. The interviewer seemed a bit uninterested in hiring and didn't provide clear information about work shifts.
- Which role would you prefer to work in within the store?
Retail Assistant
I was emailed a date and time for a group interview, and there were around 14 people there. We were split into two groups of 7. My group had to do an activity where we were given a scenario, a budget, and we had to choose what to buy for that scenario while staying within the budget. Then we had to explain to the interviewer our choices and the total cost. After that, we went upstairs and answered a few questions, which felt more like a casual chat. It was a really nice experience for my first interview.
- Can you tell me what you know about our company?
