Quantitative Trader Intern
The interview process started with a standard online assessment that included mental arithmetic and sequence questions. This was followed by an initial HR interview focused on cultural fit, with some basic technical questions about ETF pricing. Subsequent technical interviews delved deeper into quick arithmetic and probability calculations. The final round was quite demanding for an intern, suggesting they seek candidates ready to contribute immediately. It involved extensive questions on ETFs and market correlations. Be aware that they are very particular, accepting only specific answers and prompting for revisions until their predetermined response is given, so don't get discouraged if you're asked to find a different solution.

Onboarding and Monitoring Specialist
I had a really good initial chat with the recruiter; she was super friendly and answered everything I asked. Then I had a technical interview with the team. I thought I had all the skills needed and really liked the job. The interview itself was chill, and I got a good vibe from the company and the people. But, the next day, they told me they were going with someone else. I was hoping for some feedback since I made it to the second stage, like on my skills or how I interviewed, just to know how to get better. I even sent a nice follow-up saying I enjoyed the interview and asking for feedback, but never heard back. The questions were pretty basic, not hard for someone with certs like ICA or CAMS. I get not everyone gets picked, but it would be nice to be treated more humanly and respectfully, maybe with some feedback after a couple of interviews. Rejection happens, but the silence is tough. It took me a while to get over it because I really wanted this job.

Quantitative Researcher
It was an easy online test, followed by a chill HR interview. Then came a pretty easy first technical interview, though I messed it up. Questions were about linear regression, from basic stuff to tougher ones like asking if R^2 can be negative in linear regression. After that, there was a quite easy brainteaser about a game theory scenario with 3 players who have to pick a number on a segment, and then a uniform distribution is drawn, and the winner is the one closest to the realization.
- What is the maximum possible R^2 of a bivariate regression if two univariate linear regressions each have an R^2 of 0.1?
Onboarding and Monitoring Specialist
First was a recruiter call with HR, who was super nice and professional. They laid out the whole process and gave me some good info about the company, even mentioning the salary range which was awesome. The second round, though, was kinda weird. It was supposed to be technical, but they asked way too many personal questions, felt a bit invasive and like they were implying something was off with me. It was a lot.
- Can you explain your career gap?
- Did you get fired or did you leave your previous role?
- What was the reason for leaving your last job?
