Behavioral Technical Case

The first interview was with a managing actuary and a Sr Actuarial Analyst. They went over my resume and asked some technical and critical thinking questions. The second round had four interviews in one day, each with two interviewers (Sr Actuarial Director and/or managing actuary). These interviews included technical questions about the healthcare industry, a scenario-based statistical question, basic problem-solving questions, and behavioral questions using the STAR method. Overall, it was a positive experience. I received an offer two weeks after the second round.

Behavioral Technical

It began with an initial interview, followed by a full-day interviewing session in Jacksonville with 8 different interviewers. It was intense but a good way to meet some of the practicing actuaries and see the facility.

Behavioral Technical

It started with an email screening questionnaire I had 48 hours to complete, then a follow-up email asking if I was still interested. After that, I had a behavioral interview with two managing actuaries, though the meeting invite only came the morning of the interview. The final stage was an interview day with a panel of four actuaries, two senior actuaries per interview. I received the itinerary and video links the day before this interview day, which was scheduled over a week after I responded. The whole process was stressful due to the lack of timely communication from HR regarding interview details. I never heard back after the interview day, and my follow-up the week after went unanswered. Three months later, I received an automated email stating I wasn't selected.
