Operations Coordinator
The interview process had three parts: a phone interview, a video interview, and a take-home assignment followed by another video interview. The initial 30-minute phone call was pretty standard and relaxed, mostly to get a feel for me. They went over the role details and mentioned when I'd hear back. The video interview itself felt pretty long and a bit tough for an entry-level role. Be ready to really dive deep into behavioral questions - that's super important! They said I'd get an email from a team member about moving to the final round, but instead, I got an automated rejection email after a few days, which was a bummer. I tried emailing the HR person who first contacted me, but never got a reply, which was disappointing considering how much time I put into their whole interview process.
- Can you share an instance where you enhanced process management or efficiencies?
- Describe a situation where you were in charge of managing someone.
- Recount a time when your team had excellent communication.
Operations Coordinator
The interview process was easy and straightforward. I arrived at their office, signed in, and after a short wait, I was escorted to a room where two interviewers were waiting. The atmosphere was relaxed and conversational, and I felt comfortable throughout. The interviewers were very friendly, and it didn't feel pressured at all. Most of the questions were behavioral, focusing on teamwork, past projects, and the usual introductory questions like telling them about myself, my education and work history, and my motivation for applying for this role.
- Could you share your most significant accomplishment?
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your views on teamwork?
Operations Coordinator
I applied and soon after, an HR person reached out to schedule a phone interview. I booked it online, which was easy. After that phone interview (about 30 minutes), they called me back a week later for an in-person interview with the Ops Manager and a Project Lead. This one was about an hour. The HR person who called me initially met me at the front and showed me around the office. The people I met were friendly, making it less nerve-wracking. Two days later, I got another call for a final interview with the Director of Operations and a Project Lead. I had to present a case study they gave me during this meeting.
- Tell me about a significant decision you made in your current job, including the circumstances and outcome.
