Project Coordinator
Got referred by two people internally. About a week later, had an initial phone screen, pretty standard HR call asking why I want to work there and about my work history. A few days after that, HR called to set up an in-person interview at their Etobicoke office for the next week. They emailed ahead of time with info and questions, telling me I'd meet team members and they'd focus on my past roles, asking about what I was hired for, proudest accomplishments, job low points, who I worked with, and why I left. I went in a suit, totally overdressed for the tech casual vibe. Got a tour of the office, which seemed a bit messy. Then, I was left alone in a conference room. A project lead and manager showed up 15 mins late. We chatted for about an hour and 15 mins. Then they asked me to do a quick task while they watched: prioritize 5 tasks, like a client request, a description change, a question about next week's launch, a question about a launch today, and responding to an internal email. It was super easy. I thought I had it in the bag, but two days later, I got an automated rejection email with no feedback. Disappointing.

Project Coordinator
After submitting my application online, I got a response within a day to set up a phone interview. It was pretty straightforward, with the usual screening questions. However, I found it quite abrupt at the end because I didn't get a chance to ask any questions, and the manager just said he'd be in touch and then hung up. The next step involved an in-office interview. I was a bit nervous initially after reading reviews on Glassdoor and hearing about other candidates' experiences. We began with a tour of the office, then sat down for the interview. I met with two project leads who really dug into my resume. They were very nice and easy to talk to, and it wasn't a tough interview at all if you were prepared; it was just long (an hour) and had a lot of questions. Most of the questions focused on understanding my past roles, experiences, and how they'd apply to the position at Flipp. After that, I was asked to wait for the HR manager. About 20 minutes later, two other men came in, stating I'd passed my second round and would have my next interview immediately, which completely took me by surprise. This interview was with the directors and was more behavioral, lasting about another 30 minutes. In summary, my two in-person interviews were lengthy, but they offered plenty of chances to interact with the team and learn about the company and the job, while they assessed my fit. It was a good experience, though I was a bit disappointed not to get the offer.

Project Coordinator
The interview process was long and tedious. It started with a half-hour phone interview. Then, there was an in-person interview with four people. The final interview involved a presentation that I had to prepare beforehand for the CFO and other project coordinators. After all that time and effort, they didn't tell me I didn't get the job offer. Instead, a random person told me to leave. This lack of professionalism and undesirable culture ruined my perception of the company.
