First up was an HR discussion round, just a normal one-to-one chat covering standard HR questions like "Willing to relocate?" and "Salary expectations etc.". Then, a Golang technical round where they asked basic Golang questions and scenario-based questions. Some questions were about microservice architecture and distributed systems. There was also a 10-minute live coding session. After that, Coding Round 2 involved developing a real-world backend application with sufficient test cases. Following that was a Review Round where they asked questions about various aspects of the developed application, seeking improvements and suggestions. Finally, an Offer discussion Round where HR contacted me to discuss the offer and benefits.

System Design Coding Technical

The interview process for the Frontend Software Engineer role started well with a friendly HR rep who mentioned they were hiring quickly, leading me to agree to a packed interview schedule. Although I applied for a frontend position, the system design interview, which I was told would be backend-focused, actually turned out to be frontend. I managed to do well on it without prior prep and received good feedback. After that, I had to reach out myself for any updates. Then, I was given less than 24 hours' notice for a technical round. They mentioned the role was junior with low expectations, but the online JavaScript challenge was surprisingly tough and the directions were unclear. I tried my best, particularly shining in the UI design portion. Following this, I emailed again requesting any feedback, even a rejection, but was completely ignored. The whole experience began on a positive note but became disorganized and unprofessional by the end.
