First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Flexton.
Software Engineer
I had a technical interview with Flexton that was pretty bad. The coding question was a standard LeetCode problem, not too hard. But the interviewer was really weird about my setup, making me share my whole screen and even asking about my laptop's display settings. During the problem-solving, he kept butting in. He said I was taking too long very early on, and even though I was trying to explain how I was thinking, he just ignored me and made comments like 'It's been x minutes and you still haven't solved it' and 'Have you been practicing LeetCode?'. It was hard to focus with all the interruptions and the hostile vibe. Honestly, it felt super unprofessional and rude. I really hope Flexton looks into this so they can improve how their interviewers act and what training they get.

So the sales interview process is usually a few parts. First, a recruiter calls to chat about my background, how I've hit my sales numbers, and what I want to make. Then, I usually talk with the hiring manager to get into more detail about how I sell, hitting targets, and how I find and close customers. Lots of times, there's a panel with other sales folks to see if I'd fit in and work well with the team. A big part is often a sales pitch or presentation where I have to actually sell what they sell and deal with any pushback right then. Usually, the last step is meeting with higher-ups to make sure I'm on the same page as the company's big picture. If all goes well, they do reference checks and then we talk about the offer, like salary, commissions, and perks.

Human Resources Manager
The recruiter was nice, helpful, and polite. We had a real conversation and I felt enthusiastic about the job and excited for an in-person interview. She didn't have a clear description for the job, but it was her fault. It was very different when I went in for the actual interview. I sat in a room with three other people, including the CEO. It started out typical. Nobody was friendly except for one guy who was uncomfortably friendly. It didn't cross the line but it was a close call. The CEO asked me if I'd organized social events and I said no in my professional experience, but yes for large groups of peers. He smiled and said the ones here would have less alcohol. He continued to make comments about me partying and not coming into work because I was hungover, even when I reassured him I don't drink past a glass of wine. I'm a recent college grad with minimal experience, so I asked him why he'd hire me for a manager position. He basically said he wanted to hire someone to train into the head of their new HR and underpay them for it. The position had a huge range of responsibilities and would involve learning a lot at once. Instead of hiring someone experienced and paying them more, he wanted someone inexperienced for a small salary. I think this because of how he treated me not as a person he was interviewing, but as a crazy girl out of school who parties a lot that he's going to have to keep in line. It was offensive and sexist but didn't cross legal lines. This doesn't seem like a good company.
