It was a two-round interview process. The first round involved technical questions covering DSA, specifically strings, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. They also asked about Generative AI and general theoretical topics. The second round was an HR round. There was also a group discussion on fundamental topics. The interviewer was quite friendly.

Behavioral Technical

I had an online interview with the hiring manager. We started with introductions about the company, its products, and so on. Then, we talked about how I understand the products, the market, and current technology trends. We also had a high-level discussion about software development processes and my experience in leading teams. I was supposed to do a programming test, but it ended up not happening.

Coding Behavioral Technical Technical

The interview process had multiple stages. Stage 1 was a pre-screen, mostly a chat about the company and its products. Stage 2 was a 2-hour interview split into three parts. The first part was a technical test/pair programming exercise where I had to create an API. The interviewer was pretty helpful. The second part was labelled 'Culture' and involved another interviewer joining the call. This part felt a bit off because the interviewer asked me what I knew about the company, which we'd already covered in the pre-screen. The vibe in this section was totally different from the other two, which were friendly and engaged. The last part focused on 'technical knowledge,' covering things like containerization and a verbal walkthrough of a coding problem.

  • What are some activities you pursue outside of your professional life?
