I had several interviews with different people on the team because we couldn't get our schedules to line up, so I ended up answering the same questions multiple times. The recruiter was super nice and kept me in the loop. Then, COVID happened and they paused all hiring.

I was referred by someone who works there. A week later, I had a nice chat with a recruiter, followed by two phone interviews and I had to submit a writing sample. After all that, I never got a response even though I sent a few polite follow-ups (after sending thank-you notes). It would be nice to at least get a message saying I'm not a fit or what they're looking for, instead of just ghosting me after I got pretty far.
