We had an assessment day, which was like a series of quick chats with people from different teams. Then, some of the current team members gave presentations. After that, there was a creative brainstorming session with the Head of Creativity.

I first applied for the 2019 intake but after a phone interview, I didn't hear back. I reapplied and in December 2020, I made it to a second round of interviews at their London offices. The person I was dealing with promised I'd be told the outcome. After months of trying to contact them by email and phone, I gave up. It was really disappointing because the whole process took months and involved several trips to London. Getting reimbursed for travel also took a very long time.

So you start with an application, then they send you a press release to write up in a timed way, like an hour or so. After that, there's a two-day assessment centre. The first day has a written test for grammar and detail, then you pitch campaign ideas for that press release you wrote, and then an interview. I found out I passed to the next round the day after. The second AC involves group work on a different campaign, followed by another interview. The whole thing was pretty intense, with about 40 people going for only 4-6 spots. It was fun though. What really sucked was waiting three weeks for them to tell me the outcome; I had to chase them up, and then they replied super fast, so they'd clearly already decided. That was a bummer after an otherwise good experience.
