Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FleishmanHillard.
Account Executive Intern
The application process felt long and stalled. It included a test, a video interview, and then a final in-person interview. The whole thing was handled poorly. The final interview took place in a small, hot room with two senior employees. They asked a lot of questions and it didn't feel like a conversation at all, more like an interrogation. It wasn't super hard, but the vibe was really weird and uncomfortable.

Account Executive
We started with a writing test that we had to do virtually, which included drafting a press release, summarizing information, and writing a client-facing email. We were given two hours for this part. Then, there was a virtual interview with three members of the team.

Account Executive
A recruiter from FH reached out to me on LinkedIn about a job opening at the local FH office. I had two phone interviews, one with the recruiter and another with the local FH managing supervisor. Then, I had two in-person interviews. The first one was offsite because of scheduling, and the second one was at the office where I got a tour and met some colleagues. After that, I had a writing test and a reference check, and then they called me with an offer.

- What's your preferred way of collaborating with team members?
- Can you tell me about your experience writing press materials in your current role?
