I applied for a Senior Project Manager role at Flatirons and was initially contacted by a recruiter to schedule a first interview. I prepared for the meeting, joining the call on time, but the recruiter never showed up. After waiting, I attempted to contact them via LinkedIn and the hiring manager, but received no response. The interview was rescheduled for the following week. Again, I prepared and made myself available, but the recruiter failed to attend for a second time. Subsequently, I was informed the position was filled and my application had been superseded.

The interview has 3 rounds. Round 1 is an online coding test with 4 problems in 1 hour: 2 easy, 1 moderate, 1 hard. Use built-in methods to solve problems faster. It's tough to finish all in an hour, so don't get stuck on one problem. Round 2 is a Technical Discussion with a Senior Software Engineer, testing basic Java knowledge (strings, OOPS, collections, Springboot). Questions are scenario-based, testing problem-solving. You might code 1-2 scenarios and answer basic front-end questions. This round is 1 hr 15 mins. Round 3 is another Technical Discussion with the Hiring Manager. Be ready to discuss your resume. You'll code basic scenarios in an IDE (like Eclipse) and must show output. Expect theoretical questions on technologies like Springboot (architecture, AOP, bean scopes) and basic front-end topics. This round is 40 minutes. Don't expect feedback after the 3rd round.

Confirmed questions8 questions

I had one interview on 24 Aug 2019. First they asked me to go for written test which has multiple choice and Hackerrank questions. Anyhow I qualified for 2nd round. In F2F interview I was asked about my project and technolgy and also asked me to write couple of codes. But the during my interview process they were used to laugh when I was saying wrong answers. they are such unprofessional and unethical I have never seen in my 12 years of IT career. We are not forcing you to recruit us if you do not like our answe do not show your teeth noone here is working for Google/Amazon. PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR INTERVIEW IF YOU ARE A TRUE PROFESSIONAL.
