Java Developer
So the Java dev interview, especially if it's for Java 8 stuff, usually goes like this to see if you know your stuff and can solve problems. First up, the recruiter or boss checks your resume to see if you've done similar things. Then there's a quick chat, like 20-30 mins, over the phone or video, just to talk about your background and if you're qualified. They might ask some easy tech questions here. After that, you'll hit the technical interview.
- Can you tell me about Java interfaces?
- What about Java streams?
- What else have you done with Java 8?
Senior Java Developer
the interview process was pretty easy to average for me, the challenging part was interviewing with the company managers and team about my post-experience with some challenging projects in technical and managerial levels.
- Can you solve some problems on arrays?
- Tell me about some challenging projects you worked on.
- Do you have AWS experience?
Senior Java Developer
After applying using the recruiter's email, I got a call from HR for an HR interview appointment, mostly in English. This was followed by a paper test with IQ, English, and math questions. At the end of that day, the HR person informed me that a technical person would email me with instructions for a take-home coding challenge. After a few days and solving the problem, I had a technical interview. It wasn't a deep dive, more like verifying my CV experience and general technical knowledge.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you encountered and how you handled it?
- What technologies are you currently working with?
- What's your reason for wanting to leave your current job?
