Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was pretty standard. It started with a phone screen, followed by a hiring manager interview, and then a peer interview. After that, there were meetings with leadership and an onsite presentation. They do a good job preparing you for the presentation. The questions were pretty broad and nothing out of the ordinary for a CSM role. The peer interview was interesting; I'm not sure how invested or trained they were in asking questions and actively listening.

I got referred to FiveTran by a friend. I actually skipped the initial phone screen and went straight to a video chat with the Hiring Manager. I was dressed in business professional attire, but my interviewer was wearing a sweatshirt with a messy ponytail, which wasn't the best impression, especially considering my effort. I didn't hear back for about 7 days, and was told a recruiter would be in touch. Another 7 days passed, and I got a very short, automated email from a 'no-reply' address saying they decided to go with other candidates. I didn't really think it was a good fit for me anyway, but getting rejected via an auto-email was quite disappointing, reflecting poorly on their recruiting process. I invested time and effort researching the company and learning about my potential manager, so it felt like a lack of respect for my time on their end.

The interview process was a great experience and very well communicated. It started with an HR screen, hiring manager screen, peer interview, case study/presentation and virtual onsite. Communication was very clear and prompt throughout the process.
