Account Executive
I only made it to the second round of interviews, but I think there are 3 rounds total. It starts with a phone screen where they ask general questions about you and your motivations. The second round goes into more specifics about the role.
- What is your motivation?
Account Executive
I applied online and heard back for a phone screen pretty quickly. After that, I had a 45-minute phone interview with the Director of Sales where we did a role-play sales call. The next day, I got scheduled for the final in-person interview, which was about 2 hours long. Everyone was really helpful and friendly, and they got back to me super fast. I liked the on-site visit a lot, and they made me feel really welcome. My only small complaint is that the phone connection during the calls wasn't great and I sometimes had trouble hearing the questions.
- Pick a consumer product and try to sell it to me for 3-5 minutes.
Account Executive
You'll start with the recruiter, and if they think you have a good attitude and are eager to learn, you'll then speak with the sales managers. They'll want you to sell them something, and then they'll invite you to the office for a meet-and-greet. It's pretty relaxed, as making it this far means they're just looking for folks who are really serious about sales and growing their careers. Everyone dresses casually, and we really live by our values.
- What motivated you to pursue a career in sales?
