Each person on the panel asked their questions one after another. Sometimes, they talked over each other, which was pretty funny. They seemed rushed and didn't let me ask my questions.

The interview process began with an unscheduled, informal phone screening. This was followed by two more virtual interviews. The interviewers were friendly and asked straightforward questions related to the field. Despite asking about salary in all three interactions, no information was provided. There was no follow-up communication after the final interview with the two directors to inform me of the decision.

I traveled to the SF headquarters and after a short wait, I was interviewed by three individuals. Following a successful initial interview, I was asked to perform a teaching demonstration at a local detention facility. This required me to submit a 10-minute lesson plan 24 hours prior and undergo a preliminary background check for jail access. Despite bringing my lesson plan on a zip drive and getting it printed there, I ultimately did not get the job.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • I was late to the second interview due to heavy traffic, and the interviewers were different from the first round. I felt very nervous.
  • As a substitute teacher in public schools, I haven't had to create lesson plans for years, as they are usually left by the regular teacher.
  • I am very good at being creative in my presentations.

I interviewed for the Admin coordinator job. The first interview was with HR and it went fine. They set up a second interview with the Executive Director and Program Manager. I felt like both interviews went well, they were really conversational and seemed like nice people. My only advice is to actually follow up like you say you will. It's not a big deal if I don't get the job, but it's not professional to not update candidates and just ghost them when they're looking for work.
