The interview was pretty standard for the food biz, just a one-on-one with the General Manager. They asked some basic questions about the job and your future plans. Having previous food handling experience would be a plus. You gotta watch some videos before the "on the job training," but honestly, you probably won't get much help because everyone's too busy. Nobody starts out as a Shift Leader; that's the next step up. You begin as a crew member, and you'll stick to one role for a week or two until you're good at it.

The DM Terry called me in for an interview, which was great and formal and asked a lot of great questions and was extremely friendly. The second interview was a horror show! The lady who they had me speak to was extremely immature and asked questions about loyalty because she doesn't have the love of her associates. During the interview process, I have seen her whole staff grabbing my resume, passing it back and forth while making remarks with me sitting no more than feet away, also keep in mind the woman performing the interview was well aware of everything.

It was pretty straightforward, the manager just wanted to see if you had experience. Honestly, from my later experience interviewing people for crew and manager spots, it's mostly about seeming friendly, looking good, and giving straightforward answers. Don't overdo it by saying it's your absolute dream job.
