I had an in-person interview with the training manager that I felt went great. Then I had a phone interview scheduled for the next Monday with the covering DM. I thought this interview also went well. They told me I'd hear back by Wednesday or Thursday, but it's now two weeks later and I haven't heard anything. I wouldn't mind if they decided to go with someone else, but I wish they'd had the courtesy to let me know.

The interview process was pretty standard. I spoke with a few different people. Since they were expanding into my area and hiring a lot of people, they asked me for referrals. Sometimes it felt like they were more interested in getting referrals and info from my current job than in me. Communication was a bit spotty; sometimes they called when they said they would, but other times it took longer. I did get an offer, but it was less than we'd talked about and less than my minimum. It made me wonder why we bothered if they knew I was too expensive. I figured they just wanted to get information and referrals out of me.

I applied online, then had a quick chat with the District Manager. After that, I interviewed formally with the General Manager, and then met with the District Manager and HR. It was a really relaxed experience, and everyone was easy to talk to. They even cover hotel costs if training is in a different location. It's a great company to work for, very dynamic.
