Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process was pretty solid and professional, with a good mix of checking technical skills and how well you can work with others. It started with an HR call about why you want the job, your background, and what you expect to get paid. Then, there was an interview with the hiring manager where they wanted to know about your ESG knowledge and what you've done before. After that, you had to do a technical/case-style test where you had to analyze and interpret data. The last step was a final interview with some senior people on the team.

It took about a month to hear back after applying. Once I got a response, the rest of the process moved fairly smoothly. There was no technical interview, but they did include an English proficiency test, several rounds of behavioral questions, and a background check.

It started with a Hirevue, and then there was a panel interview. The panel interview was composed of 3 separate 30-minute interviews with people from different levels and teams. It was pretty conversational with typical interview questions like 'walk through your background' and 'why fitch'. I'd say reviewing financial statements beforehand is a good idea in case they throw in some tricky questions.

  • Could you tell me about your background?
  • What are your reasons for wanting to work at Fitch?
  • Which financial statement do you consider to be the most crucial?
