First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fisker.
Senior Manager
Started with an HR rep call, pretty standard. Then had a quick chat with the hiring manager, a Director. They were nice and mostly there to encourage me to take the role. The final round was with the company Director and the CFO. It was a bit weird; the CFO didn't seem very familiar with the auto business and was pretty aggressive, but the questions weren't tough, more about how I presented myself.
- What makes you want to leave your current job?
Manager
I was contacted by an HR manager and applied. I went through 4 rounds of interviews. The first was with the hiring manager, the second with the hiring manager and another manager, the third with a director, and the fourth with two senior executives. All interviews were about my background and experience, nothing too unusual. After a few weeks, I got an offer that was much lower than I expected. Salary expectations were never discussed before this. I tried to negotiate by countering their offer, and then I was ghosted. Three weeks later, I emailed and surprisingly got a response. Apparently, they weren't sure if they needed the position, so instead of updating me, they decided ghosting me after the offer was the best approach.
- Tell me about your background and experience.
Manager
The interview was about 30 minutes long. It was a positive experience with excellent questions. Two interviewers were present. The process was fast and efficient. HR was friendly. We used Microsoft Teams for these remote interviews. The interview was conducted by hiring directors, managers, and team members. The interview questions were logical and focused on probing relevant on-the-job experience.
- What motivates your interest in working at Fisker?
