First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fish & Richardson.
Summer Associate
It was a screener with a recruiting manager. I was asked why law, why patent litigation, why engineering, why I would want to practice in the area that I chose when I graduate.
- Why do you want to work at Fish Richardson?
Summer Associate
It was a quick phone interview. Mostly questions about my resume, with a couple behavioral ones thrown in. The recruiter was professional and got right to the point.
- Can you tell me about yourself and explain your interest in Fish?
Summer Associate
There were two interview rounds. The first one was short, only 20-30 minutes. The second interview was much longer, about 1.5 to 2 hours. In the callback round, there were 3-4 interviewers, each lasting about half an hour. The questions were pretty similar across these interviewers and not very different from the first interview.
- What is your motivation for pursuing patent law?
