So the process I went through was: first, an HR screening call. Then, I had a technical interview with the manager. After that, there was a timed sixty-minute written task. Then, I had a discussion with a senior colleague. Lastly, I finished with an executive panel interview. Each stage looked at different skills.

It started with a 15 minute phone screening. After that, I was given a 3 part deliverable project with multiple subtasks that took around 6 hours to complete. In the end, I got an automated rejection. I have a masters degree and over 5 years of experience. The process felt rude and disrespectful, and I suspect they were just looking for free work.

The interview process had 4 stages. First, I had a good chat with HR, clarifying details. Then, I spoke with the manager, which was also very friendly. After that, I was given a written assessment that involved writing 3 short policy summaries and doing a bit of research. It wasn't too hard and took about 4-4.5 hours with translations. The final interview also felt good. We discussed the assessment, and I got to talk to an employee to ask questions about working hours and contracts. This made me feel secure, but after a week with no news, I emailed them and was told my application was on hold. I was really disappointed and asked for feedback, but never received any.
