So I had this interview for a QA role, and it started with two technical rounds. I got rejected in the second one because I apparently didn't know enough about APIs, which was a bummer, but up until then, it was fine. Then, out of the blue, they called me back for a different project, this time for both Manual and Automation QA. They hit me with a bunch of questions on things like the string pool, exception handling, and Selenium. The interviewer straight up told me I was wrong on like 5 or 6 questions. I was pretty sure I was right, but they were so confident it made me doubt myself. In the end, HR told me I wasn't selected. After I got home and double-checked, I realized all my answers were actually correct. It felt like the interviewer intentionally discouraged me and basically sent me packing. It's fine if they didn't want to hire me, but actively discouraging someone like that? If I hadn't verified my answers, I would've walked away thinking I was totally clueless.

The interview process was quite smooth, they only asked basic questions on testing and mainly emphasized what I had done in my previous projects. That was the 1st & 2nd round. The 3rd round was the client interview, in which they asked the same things as asked earlier. It was a telephonic round from the U.S. I think I answered all the questions & I was very confident about my selection. But the next day I got feedback that I was not able to make it. I think I just made one mistake about 1 Unix question which was about grep command syntax, I used double quotes but I should have used single quotes with the searching string. I really feel very bad for this mistake. I think maybe that was the reason. Anyhow, the Fis HR & Technical recruitment team are all very professional. I really appreciated their effort. They all are doing a great job. I hope I will get an opportunity again & next time I will make it. & I will make a long-term relationship with them. Once again thanks for giving me this interview opportunity for this prestigious organization.

My interview process involved 3 steps: first, a telephonic technical round. Second, an HR round focused on salary discussion. Finally, a telephonic round that was actually the onsite round, covering both technical and functional aspects.
