This IT Trainee profile was part of the FIS University program on superset. The interview process had 3 rounds: an online assessment, a technical interview, and an HR interview. The online assessment included both technical and general aptitude MCQs. It took about a week for the shortlisted candidates' list to be released, with 62 candidates making the cut. Next up was the technical interview, which was rated as easy to medium in difficulty. A panel of 5 interviewers conducted it, reviewing resumes and asking questions based on them. In my case, they asked about my experience since I had mentioned similar things on my resume. For others, technical questions covering pseudo-codes and logic building were asked. The interview was only 20 minutes long and easier than expected. Following that was the HR round, which featured typical HR questions and some logic-building questions. Out of the 25 candidates who made it to the HR round, 6 were ultimately selected.

Technical Coding Behavioral

First, there was an online test which was kind of in the middle difficulty-wise. You know, each part had a timer and a set number of questions you had to answer. They asked Aptitude, Verbal, and Technical MCQs. Then, the technical interview had questions about Python, and after that, DBMS, covering basic stuff up to nested queries and joins. They even asked us to write queries for a specific situation. They also asked about OOPS concepts and how constructors are used. Finally, the HR interview had the usual HR questions, like asking about goals, objectives, interests, and some behavioral type questions.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you provide queries for specific join scenarios in DBMS?

Behavioral Technical Coding

It was a quick process. The panels were friendly. The HR interview focuses on your personality, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. For technical roles, there is often a more in-depth technical interview, where your skills, tools, and technologies are evaluated, sometimes including live coding or system design.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about your background based on your resume?
  • Are there any specific questions you have regarding my resume?
