Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Firstsource Solutions.
Associate
The interview process was really disorganized, and I had to wait a long time without getting any updates. The person interviewing me seemed unfocused and didn't do a good job explaining what the job actually involves, making the whole experience pretty frustrating and disappointing.
- Can you share an instance where you managed a challenging client interaction and the steps you took to find a solution?
Senior Associate
The interview process included an initial recruiter call to discuss your background and experience, focusing on communication skills (English, voice, non-voice, chat, email). There was also a technical support segment, a conflict management scenario, and an HR round covering communication in general. A Versant test was administered, followed by a live chat simulation.
- What are your salary expectations for this role?
Associate
It was a moderate interview at the First Source office. First, I had an aptitude test and Versant, which were pretty easy. Then, it was mostly about me, my education, and how I'd handle customer service issues like a customer disagreeing with me. They also asked about why I chose customer service and my future career goals.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Tell me about your education.
- How would you handle an ongoing customer service issue?
