About a month after applying, I got a surprise phone screen asking about my interests and schooling. Then I got an email to set up an interview. This interview was with three people from FirstEnergy. They asked me STAR method questions and some general ones too. I got an offer three weeks after that.

The interview process was fast. There was just one in-person interview with 3 people, supervisors and managers. It was mostly behavioral questions. The interviewers were friendly and made me feel comfortable. It lasted about 30-45 minutes. They talked about their team structure and locations first.

I did a phone screening that was only about 15 minutes long. Then, the next step was a phone interview that took a little over 20 minutes. During that interview, they asked general questions about my school, my classes, and my previous work experience. The whole process went really smoothly, and they seemed really interested in hearing why I chose FirstEnergy.
