First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at First Quality.
Data Analytics Intern
The interview process was good and ran smoothly. The interviewer seemed genuinely interested in my background and asked a mix of technical and behavioral questions. They presented scenarios and asked how I would handle them, and also requested a detailed explanation of my past projects.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What motivates your interest in this particular position?
- Could you answer some questions regarding SQL?
Quality Assurance Engineer
The interview process included questions like "Why should I hire you?", "What is a bug?", "What is the difference between severity and priority?", "What is the difference between Assert and Verify commands in test automation?", and "What is the difference between Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Testing?". There was also a question about data structure algorithms.
- Can you discuss data structure algorithms?
- Can you explain the difference between severity and priority?
- What do you understand by a bug?
HR Generalist
I applied online and it was pretty easy to upload my documents. Then HR called and we set up a phone screen pretty quickly. After that, they reached out again for an on site interview. It took about 2 weeks from the phone screen to the on site. The on site interview itself was about an hour long with 3 or 4 people, and then I finished with the Hiring Manager for a bit.
- How do you manage handling multiple tasks simultaneously?
- What do you enjoy most about working in HR?
- Can you tell me about some projects you have worked on?
Project Manager
I met with 3 people in separate meetings. Two of the interviewers were managers, one of them being my potential direct manager and the other an existing IT Project Manager. They mostly focused on the company's values and how they have been successful in expanding their brand. This company is much bigger than it first appears, especially when they discussed their recent sales figures, the expansion of their product lines, and their manufacturing facilities. Since the company produces FDA regulated products, familiarity with GxP manufacturing processes and regulations is a must.
- Can you explain the different phases of project management?
- Tell me about the projects you have managed.
- Describe a situation where a project was at risk of being delayed and how you handled it.
