Store Manager
Right after I applied for the Store Manager position, a district manager reached out. Then I had an interview at a First Cash Pawn store, followed by an interview with regional managers. The whole thing took about two weeks. Since I'm an experienced Recruiter, it was pretty straightforward and I'd say the interviews were easy.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you tell me about one of the questions you were asked?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years if you get this job?
Store Manager
You start by applying online. Then, go to a shop with your resume and find out who the district manager is. Try to get in touch with them or have them contact you about your application. Be persistent! If they reach out, expect at least 2 interviews and then a few hours observing people working. Ask questions and talk to customers. Pay attention to how associates interact with customers.
- Can you tell me about a time you dealt with a challenging customer and how you resolved it?
Store Manager
It was an easy interview, they seemed to focus a lot on personality. Most of the positions get filled by people already working there, I don't think many people get promoted from outside. It should be a quick process, and you should prepare some questions for them since they won't volunteer much info.
- What makes you want to join us?
