First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at First Cash.
Assistant Manager
This is a very people-focused interview, so make sure you come across as a people person. Gut instinct and quick thinking are key for this role. We really care about cultural fit, and honestly, if you score below 75% on the online app, you won't be considered. Business casual dress code is fine. Bring your resume, and be prepared to answer a lot of questions about customers, service, sales, and building relationships. Being bilingual in Spanish is a big plus.
- What's your motivation for wanting to join Cash America?
- How do you manage your feelings when dealing with challenging customers?
- Tell me about a time you successfully handled a difficult customer situation.
Assistant Manager
I spoke with HR first, then had a 1-on-1 with the market manager. I got the job offer less than a week later, and started exactly two weeks from the date of my HR phone interview. The whole interview process was quite long.
- Can you discuss the company's core values?
Management Trainee
It was an outstanding experience, three managers interviewed me. They asked me several questions regarding my management style, etc. They also wanted to know if you can work retail hours.
- Are you able to work between 45 to 55 hours per week?
