Customer Service Representative
I was called in for an interview the very next day. When I arrived, the manager greeted me and introduced me to his own manager. The manager's manager then proceeded to micromanage him and completely took over the interview. I was informed that there were two rounds of interviews for this pawn shop job, which pays $9-$10/hour, which I found totally ludicrous. Additionally, they expected employees to travel between different store locations during their shifts. I'm unsure how they are still in business or why they required additional CSRs, as there were no fewer than 6 employees working behind the counter when I arrived in the early afternoon on a weekday.
- Can you tell me why you left your past positions and how much notice you provided?
Customer Service Representative
First you apply online. Then you have to interview twice. You'll talk to the shop manager first, and then the market manager. If they offer you the job, you have to pass a drug test.
- What are your 5-year career goals with this company?
Customer Service Representative
After applying online, I got a call a few days later to meet with the store manager. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and was pretty straightforward. The questions were basic and focused on my past work experience. I got a call the next day with a job offer.
- What would your previous employer say about you?
