It was a 20-minute interview where we talked about all my mechanical experience. The manager told me about the working hours and gave me a basic rundown of the position and what's expected of me as part of the team. After the interview, the manager mentioned when I'd take a drug test and when the background check should clear. That pretty much covers the whole interview process.

It was a simple interview where I was asked questions about my experience. I tried to be truthful, but the interviewer seemed to misunderstand me. I was honest again, and he said it was fine and that he thought I'd work out. I was excited to start. However, there was something on my medical record that needed further investigation before I could begin. I had to cover the cost of all the appointments myself, and it took months to get started.

  • We can get to know each other and be comfortable with questions about my experience and about who I was as a person.

The manager interviewed me in their office. We started by talking about my current job in food service and my desire to explore new opportunities. I explained my interest in cars and learning more about them, which led to the question of why I was applying to this specific company. After a few more questions, he mentioned he had other candidates to see. I haven't heard back in about two weeks.
