Got a call asking me to come in on a specific day and time (some people could just come in anytime on a specific day that the manager is here). I sat in one of the booths and they asked me some questions.

It was brief but good. I learned about the menu and the company culture. They asked me why I'd be a good addition to the team. Then they gave me a tour. They said they'd let me know.

The process is pretty simple and they don't really ask a ton of questions. It honestly feels like almost anyone who seems like they're willing to work and has a good attitude can get hired at Firebirds. The downside is that they end up hiring a lot of servers who don't have much experience, and then they have trouble providing the kind of service that management expects here at Firebirds. Because of that, a lot of people have to be weeded out after each training class starts.

  • Could you try to sell me a drink?
