First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fire Inc. Atlanta.
Account Executive
The interview process at Fire Inc was pretty cool. The office was nice and the people were upbeat and professional. It's a pretty informal interview at first, where HR gets to know you and puts a 'face to the resume.' After that, there's a job shadow and a third and final interview. You have to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- What would your closest friend say about you?
Account Executive
The interview process lasted about 3 days. I was first contacted by a recruiter who found my resume online. I went in for an initial interview where they discussed career growth, increased responsibilities, and good pay. I then moved on to a second interview which involved a ride-along with a professional and personable staff member. The third interview, which happened on the same day as the second, was a wrap-up of everything. It was a good process that allowed me to see the job and career opportunities.
- How do you think one can quickly build rapport with others?
Account Executive
The interview process was quick and efficient. They talked around what the job actually was and entailed. They stated it wasn't a sales job, but more of an office job with trips to big businesses to work with them on promoting their product. They lied several times, saying if we were looking for a sales job, we should look elsewhere. Even when asked what the job was, they only hinted at it while trying to make you feel special for making it to the interview. Once we passed the interview and were on to shadowing, we were taken out to the field without proper notice of what was going to happen. Instead of giving detailed information, they wanted us to read off a copy of a script verbatim. They did not tell us to bring water or any other drink. They said there was a base pay during the interviews, but when we hit the first day, they changed it and said it was all commission. Overall, it seemed like a scam, and one that many have fallen victim to.
- Tell me about your proudest moment.
- In five years, where do you see yourself?
- What makes you the best candidate?
