First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Finvi.
Software Engineer
I had a call with the recruiter and then the manager. I was supposed to have a normal interview with 3 other managers, probably with some test too. But they ghosted me. They scheduled an interview, then canceled it at the last moment. Then they asked me to reschedule, and I did, but they never followed up. Very unprofessional. They should have been straight up if they found another candidate and not ghost like this. If you have options, do not interview with this company. The interview difficulty would be on the easier side, which can be a positive.
- Tell me about why you're leaving your current job.
- What makes you want to work here?
- Can you discuss your basic OOP concepts?
Consultant
The interview process was really simple. First, I had a 30-minute call with a recruiter where they asked me some general questions. Then, they set up an on-site interview for me. It started at 8am and wrapped up around 2pm. I had lunch with a hiring manager and a coworker; we got Jimmy Johns. After lunch, we did a tour of the place and I met some of the team members. About a week later, I got a call with an offer.
- Can you share an instance where you navigated a challenging customer interaction?
- Describe a time you faced an unethical situation and how you addressed it.
Client Success & Product Manager
I interviewed for multiple positions at Finvi thru multiple interviews. The largest feeling I had was that a lot of people left Finvi for other opportunites and now they're in a hiring spree. It seems like most people have worked there a year or less and that was a bit of a red flag. The few people that have worked there longer seem unsure about the future of their positions/products.
- Can you discuss your experience in client relations?
- What is your background with documentation?
Sales Representative
The interview process was pretty straightforward, with questions about background, sales process, tech used, call points, and quota attainment. The recruiter seemed unable to provide details on the current sales team's tenure, backgrounds, quota attainment, or their overall hiring process.
- Can you explain your sales process, identify your call points, and discuss your quota attainment?
- What technology do you utilize in your sales efforts?
- What are your primary call points?
