The interview process was pretty relaxed, focusing a lot on your past experiences to understand how deep your knowledge goes. They were clear about what each round would cover and what they expected.

A vendor reached out about a potential conversion role and set up a chat. Because my experience was so relevant, I was quickly moved to a first screen with an Architect and then a second screen with the Hiring Manager. Two days after the second screen, I was told the interviews went well and they'd let me know the next steps ASAP. The ASAP never happened. After following up, the recruiter told me, "you need to wait, your interviews weren't that fantabulous." I waited, and was then told FINRA had opened the role to other vendors to complete a cycle, and they'd let me know ASAP. Again, the ASAP never came, and they ghosted me. Eventually, they responded to my follow-ups saying they understood my frustration and would let me know ASAP. This whole experience with FINRA and their vendors made me realize they're either unaware of the brand impression this behavior creates or simply don't know how to recruit experienced tech talent. Please avoid.

Had four rounds of interviews and then they ghosted me and sent an automated rejection when I tried to follow up. The interviews themselves weren't anything special or difficult, mostly just practicing the STAR method. They do conduct panel/group interviews.
