HR screen. Then met with the hiring manager on Teams. After that, had a Teams interview with two peers. The hiring manager then interviewed me F2F. Finally, met with the CEO F2F. The whole process took five weeks, but there were two weeks off for Christmas holidays. HR did a really good job of keeping me updated.

So I had my initial chat with the recruiter, then I met with the hiring manager. After that, there was a panel interview with the Director and VP of the department. The very last thing was I had to put together a presentation about different customer success scenarios. The recruiter was super fast after every step. It wasn't like a walk in the park with the interviews, but the whole process was really smooth and organized.

The interview process included a recruiter screen, a sales leader Zoom call, a CRO Zoom call, and a panel interview. I didn't advance past the sales leader round. The sales leader was on vacation during our interview, and he asked if I remembered him from a previous panel interview. I didn't, and after he explained, I felt it was unlikely I'd move forward. Although it was a traditional setup, the sales leader's feedback was that other candidates had unique skills that were a better fit. I asked the recruiter for improvement feedback, but was only told that.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process moved quickly and was really centered on key aspects. It gave me a good sense of what LeaseQuery is all about and the company culture. We had some really in-depth discussions about our perspectives on what's important in software development and management, the hurdles they're encountering, their objectives, and my own vision for the type of manager I aim to be. I'd say the interviews were moderately challenging, not because the questions themselves weren't tough – they definitely were. However, the challenges felt manageable because we found a lot of common ground during our conversations.
