Senior Analyst
It's a pretty complicated process with several interviews. There's a screening process where the interviewer covers different aspects with each division, and you need approvals from several departments. It's not easy to get hired in companies like these.
- Can you share details about your personality and background?
- How does your background align with the requirements of this job?
Intern
The trainee program interview process started with recording video answers on RecRight. After that, there were an aptitude test and more interviews, though I didn't personally experience those. The communication about the recruitment process was timely and informative, in my opinion.
- Can you tell us more about yourself?
- Tell me about a situation where you stepped out of your comfort zone to achieve a goal. What did you learn from that experience?
Cabin Crew
The interviewers were really nice, and the environment was super supportive throughout. It started with a pre-screening where they asked some general questions. Then, there was a VDO recording round where I had to answer two questions within one minute each. The final interview lasted about 30-45 minutes. Just make sure you're confident speaking English and have a positive attitude.
- What makes you want to join Finnair?
iOS Engineer
The application process was a bit of a hassle, involving both submitting a CV and then re-entering all that info into their system. But the interviews themselves were pretty good. I enjoyed it because it wasn't excessively technical. In an era where many companies give weird tests and then put a lot of pressure on candidates, Finnair was a nice change of pace. They did ask iOS-related technical questions, but the main goal was to get to know each other and see if we were a good fit.
- Can you explain how to prevent memory leaks in iOS development?
- Could you discuss technical aspects of iOS development, such as threading and debugging?
