My interview experience with FINN was a bit of a mixed bag. The first part was cool and friendly. The person interviewing me laid out the job details clearly, and the whole process seemed organized and put together. I heard back pretty fast. But the second part was different. They said they'd get back to me super quick, like within a day. It ended up taking a few weeks though. Also, it got unexpectedly casual – there was swearing and stuff like, “This isn’t a good way to ask, but I’ll ask anyway.” While being chill is usually good, the unprofessional language was a surprise. Oh, and they mentioned the team works until 7 p.m., which sounds like a tough work-life balance. So, yeah, I didn't get the job, but the beginning was professional. The delays and the really casual tone later on made me feel iffy about the company culture and how they communicate.

Behavioral Case

I went through three stages in the interview process. First, there was a 30-minute initial chat to get to know each other and discuss my interest in the company and the role. Then, I had a 60-minute interview that included a case study. The case study was designed to assess my thought process, structure, attention to detail, and creativity, rather than requiring specific knowledge. The day after, I got a final call where they confirmed the offer and went over a few details. I received my contract about an hour later. The entire process was incredibly fast, taking about two weeks from the initial contact to the offer, with the only delays being due to my availability. The process was always clear, and communication was quick and efficient. Before the second interview, I received a really helpful and interesting document about FINN and its market. The coordination between the HR team and the hiring department seemed seamless. I felt genuinely valued and respected throughout. The interviews were challenging and in-depth, but the interviewers created a comfortable atmosphere, making it more of a dynamic conversation than just a Q&A session, which I think is great.
