The interview process with FileCloud was smooth and well organized. The HR team was friendly and responsive, and the technical rounds were fair and relevant to the role. Each interviewer was professional and made the discussion comfortable. Overall, it was a positive experience with clear communication at every stage.

The interview process at Filecloud was structured in three stages: First, I had an interview with the Finance Director, which focused on my qualifications, experience, and suitability. We talked about general accounting knowledge, my career background, and how I fit the role. Then, in the second round, I met with the HR Director. This interview delved deeper into my professional experience and also looked at my cultural fit, work ethic, interpersonal skills, and collaboration approach. The HR Director asked about my problem-solving, adaptability, and alignment with Filecloud’s values. The third and final stage was a more strategic discussion with the CFO. This interview focused on my technical accounting knowledge, financial forecasting familiarity, and ability to manage complex financial situations. The CFO used situational questions to assess my decision-making and problem-solving skills, and my experience contributing to company goals. Overall, it was a comprehensive process that confirmed my alignment with Filecloud’s goals and culture, and gave me a good understanding of their priorities.

I was invited for a 30min technical interview with the tech lead and an engineer, they had some classic javascript & web accessibility questions (if you google "top 10 js questions" you got it). I was training for a presentation meeting, but I was a surprised that they said the meeting would be a technical interview, since the HR were not explicit about it, and it was my first contact with the company. What frustrated me most about the process was that I had asked HR when the next stage of the process would happen and what it would be like (a technical or presentation interview), and I didn't get an answer. It definitely compromised my process.

There were 3 interviews in total. The first was an introduction with HR, covering candidate, company, and offer info, lasting 15-20 mins. The second was a technical interview with two future team leaders, about 1.5 hours long, focusing on a primary programming language and software development concepts like design patterns. Programming questions were mostly multiple-choice, while general software development questions had both closed and open formats. The third interview was with director-level software engineers, lasting over an hour, discussing general software development and design patterns with open-ended questions.
