Behavioral Technical Presentation

The first couple of rounds were pretty standard. Lots of good talks about the product, my career aspirations, and typical SaaS role questions. They then asked me to prepare for a third round by learning the product, which they estimated would take about 8 hours. I was okay with that, but honestly, 8 hours just to get to a point where I'd normally spend 8-10 hours prepping for a third round seemed a bit much. The provided materials weren't super helpful, and after 3-4 hours of not making much progress, I realized it would take way more than the expected 8 hours. I ended up withdrawing because I was juggling three other interviews and couldn't dedicate multiple 8-hour days to prepping for just one.

Behavioral Technical

It started with the recruiter who set a great tone talking about the company and team. We had a good, natural chat about the company, solution, and role. I was really excited to move on! The next round with the manager of one of the teams was HORRIBLE. She was 10 minutes late and had to leave early for another call. She had a bad attitude, didn't prepare or read my resume, and was typing in the background the whole time. She didn't try to get to know me, asking and answering questions in a way that felt like she just wanted to quiz me about her company. When I asked questions, she expected me to already know the answers. Interviewing is a two-way street, and both sides should prepare; if more prep is needed, the interviewee should be told. I backed out after that.
