Behavioral Technical

I applied in March 2013 via an employee referral, and got selected for an interview. It began with a standard phone screen. Then, I was called for an in-person interview at their Southfield office. I met the HR Manager, learned about the internship, and answered questions about my availability and behavior. Two weeks later, I met a Finance Manager and his superior. This 30-minute meeting felt less like an interview and more like a briefing on the job procedures. After about a month of waiting, during which the hiring manager repeatedly gave vague timelines, I was finally told I was no longer being considered.
