First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fifth Third.
Accounting Co-op
I interviewed on campus for a leadership program, and the process went really smoothly. They'll mail the result to you in about 2 weeks. It all happened very fast.
- Describe your experience as a leader.
Staff Accountant
The interview was pretty straightforward and focused on behavioral questions. It involved 3 one-on-one interviews, each lasting about 30-45 minutes. I was disappointed that a lot of the time was spent with each interviewer explaining the position, which was already detailed in the job posting.
- Can you share an instance where you had to prioritize tasks?
- What management style do you find most effective or prefer?
Accountant
This was a campus interview. The pre-night dinner is important because you might interview with the same person you met at dinner the next day. There was a 1:1 interview, and then you needed to prepare some questions to ask the interviewer.
- Can you share examples of your teamwork abilities?
- How do you approach working in a team?
