I did a bank reconciliation and then had to write a business letter. After that, I had the interview. They didn't ask too many behavioral questions, mostly about me, my skills, and what I know about the company. They asked about strengths and weaknesses. Standard stuff. Later I found out I wasn't moving on to a second round. They said they liked me but thought I was looking for something more strictly accounting, like a CPA role, which is accurate. No regrets though, they were nice and it was a relaxed interview.

I used a recruiter and at the time the position was filled. Later, another similar position opened up and FNF asked to meet with me. You must complete an accounting test. If you fail the test you will be thanked for your time and guided to the door. Be advised that some positions require strenuous overtime during month-end closing. Think about getting a hotel room close by if you don't live close by (many do) as you might be there until midnight.

So I applied through a recruiter at an accounting placement agency and also sent in my resume online. The first step was a phone call with an HR Generalist. Then, for the in-person interview, I had to do an accounting test and meet with two department managers. The next week, I had another interview with one of the managers from the first meeting and the VP of the department.
