First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FICO.
Senior Manager
The whole process took 84 days, starting with a screening and then moving through 4 rounds all the way up to the C-Suite. Unfortunately, after all that, I was completely ghosted. I was repeatedly told that I was the perfect fit for every interview, including the final one. They mentioned they'd follow up within a day or two, but three weeks passed, and I eventually gave up. I reached out to the recruiter again, and she mentioned she meant to call before her three-week vacation but it slipped her mind. Three months for this process is absolutely unnecessary.
- Is your current manager aware of your job search, and what feedback do you anticipate they would give if contacted?
Manager
HR reached out to me first. I had a phone chat with HR, then another phone interview with a Senior Manager in consulting. We talked a lot about my past projects and what I want to do in the future. After that, I met with a Director in Chicago who again looked closely at my resume and background. Then, I had a very casual phone chat with another Director.
- Tell me about your assertiveness.
Senior Manager
It was a total of 8 rounds for this Sr Manager role. We had 2 telephonic interviews, followed by 2 presentation rounds, and then 4 face to face interviews.
- Can you tell me about your past work experiences?
- What do you know about Java?
- Can you explain HTTP protocols?
