FICO General Intern Interview Questions
& Process

There were several stages. The first stage was a technical coding test with beginner and intermediate level C++ and Python problems to solve. The second stage was a group activity with about 70 people. We were put into teams and given several less technical issues to solve as a team, which were more about teamwork and decision-making. I didn't make it to the next stage, which was a direct interview.

It was a pretty complicated process, with several interview schedules. Whenever it seemed like it was going to move forward, a different dynamic would appear. But other than that, everything was fine and the people were very polite. I didn't hear back from the company for 5 months, until I finally got the rejection notice.

I interviewed for an IT Intern position last year and it was a really bad experience. I got accepted in all the stages, reaching the final one, but unfortunately didn't pass. The HR guy offered me another role because they really liked my profile, so I accepted. In total, I had 5 interviews, going through bad weather, missing college classes, and in the end, I felt really disrespected. After my last interview, the area coordinator said I'd get an answer the following week. This was in November 2023, but they never got back to me. I emailed them and only got a response in 2024, literally. I was anxious, spent the whole year waiting, and had to chase them for a response. They took weeks to reply, and then the HR guy just said I didn't pass and wished me luck, without even apologizing. They made me wait all this time. The process started in late September and ended in November, and then they ghosted me for a month, totally forgetting about me. I've never felt so disrespected by a company; my whole family was indignant. They promise you everything, say they treat interns like family, but they don't even reply. I'll never apply to them again. I checked 'Reclame Aqui' but the company isn't listed, which I found suspicious. Their Instagram is abandoned, no Google reviews, it's like they don't exist, but thankfully Glassdoor lets you share experiences. For the company, I kindly ask you not to treat future candidates this way; it's completely disrespectful to students!
