First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fiberlink.
Software Engineer
It started with a phone screen where they asked about my past projects and some basic CS/data structures stuff - it was pretty easy. Then I had a long day of face-to-face interviews. First was a programming test on a laptop, I had to write a Java program. The problem seemed hard at first but I figured it out with some hints. After that, there were four technical interviews. One focused on Java internals, memory management, and confusing me about heap/stack. The others covered puzzles, coding, data structures, and web app stuff. Two of those were really tough for problem-solving and data structures, the others weren't too bad. The last interview was with the VP, who asked puzzles and about my background and career goals. The whole thing took about 6-7 hours including a break for lunch.
- The data structures and programming challenges were the hardest parts, but it seemed like they cared more about my thought process than a perfect solution.
Software Developer
I got a call from a consultancy. First there was an online test on fibelink, then they called me to their office on Saturday and conducted 4 rounds of interview. The interviews were focused on Java, data structures and puzzles. The company seems confused in their expectations and compare their work to none less than Google, Yahoo. They told me on Saturday that I had only the HR interview left, but they again called me for a 5th interview with the Director and then said again wait for HR.

Software Engineer
A recruiter reached out and we had a 30-min chat. They asked about my background and tech skills to see if I was a fit. Then they pitched the company. After that, I got an online coding test with a really unclear question. HR said they'd let me know my status, but I never heard back, which was pretty unprofessional. I won't apply there again.
