Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FHI 360.
Project Assistant
The process was well-organized. HR was helpful throughout. The interview stage involved a panel of three people, one of whom was from HR. It began with a phone screening, then progressed to an in-person comprehensive interview where they assessed my technical skills and overall relevant experience.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your motivation?
- What is your experience working on particular project themes?
Project Manager
The process can be in-person or online. Generally, as a future intern, you won't have much professional experience, so you'll need to draw from your personal, academic, or volunteer experiences to demonstrate your interest in the role, the company, or the industry you're applying for.
- Why do you want to work with us?
Project Manager
The interview process was pretty standard. I first had a 30-minute phone chat with the recruiter. Then, a week later, I had the main interview, which was an hour long. I never heard back after that, so I assume I didn't get the job.
- Tell me about a time you faced a challenging situation and how you handled it.
