First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FGF Brands.
Data Analyst
The interview started with questions about why I chose this company and what my greatest strength is. Then they asked me to share my experience with Power BI and Excel since I put those skills on my resume, and those were all the interview questions they had. The interviewers didn't seem to have much to say about my answers; I guess they already had their picks.
- Can you tell me about a time you used Power BI during your last internship?
Financial Analyst
I had an HR screening call, and then within a week, I was called for a second round which was skills/behavioural. The questions they asked were pretty generic, not too concerning. Just stay calm and respond appropriately.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- How do you manage disagreements?
- What's your proficiency with Excel?
Communications Specialist
The whole interview experience was really great, starting with the recruiter call, then talking with the hiring manager, some business folks, and the head of HR. The recruiter was super interested in my background and asked some really specific questions. The others went straight to the point and let me share stories about my past work. It took about a month to wrap up because of scheduling hiccups, but everyone tried to speed things along to get me an offer. Honestly, it was one of the best interview processes I've been through.
- Can you share your background with us?
- Describe the most challenging communications project you've managed.
- How do you handle a communications assignment when you're missing key details?
Project Coordinator
The interview process included a recruiter call and a phone screen. We asked about your work experience and its relevance, your knowledge of our company and interest in working here, how you handle tight deadlines or conflicting priorities, and how you deal with challenging situations or difficult coworkers/customers. We also asked about your strengths and weaknesses and how you leverage your strengths, how you stay current with industry trends, about a time you had to adapt or learn quickly, your approach to problem-solving and decision-making, and for an example of a successful project you completed.
- What are your career aspirations and how does this role align with them?
- Can you elaborate on your past work and its connection to this role?
- What's your understanding of our company and your motivation to join us?
