First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fever.
Digital Marketing Manager
I have very mixed feelings about this whole process. I liked the people I met, but there were some issues. First, the HR and hiring manager seemed to have different ideas about what this role entailed. Second, the test was really hard and I'm not sure how relevant logarithms and quadratic equations are to digital marketing. It was tough, but I passed. Third, HR said they needed to fill the role quickly, but it took over a month and a half. I also didn't get answers to some questions I asked HR, which made me feel unsure before the final interview. In the last interview, I found out a hiring manager would be out for two weeks, so there was no clear timeline for a decision. Fourth, during the final panel interview, some people didn't have their cameras on, which I think is disrespectful. Preparation is key to success in this interview.
- What is your motivation for joining Fever, and how would you plan and execute an event from the ground up?
- Why do you want to join Fever? Could you describe how you would organize an event starting from nothing?
Growth Manager
Overall pretty fast and straightforward. It started with an HR screening, then a mettl test. After that, I had a case and behavioral interview with the manager, followed by another case and behavioral interview with the department head.
- Can you provide case studies about business and how they can be applied to fever?
Growth Marketing Manager
The interview process at Fever was quite lengthy. It began with two initial screening calls with HR. Following that, there were a series of extensive logic, reading, and math tests that consumed a significant amount of time. I was upfront about my salary expectations from the start. After all these steps and two more interviews, including the final one, they informed me they couldn't even come close to my salary requirements. It felt like a complete waste of my time, and I assume theirs too, highlighting a significant lack of inter-departmental communication. Additionally, the final interview, supposedly with a manager, was conducted by someone who didn't turn on their camera and seemed clearly unenthusiastic.
- Can you share some details about your past experience?
- Describe your usual working style.
